Obituary of Catherine Elizabeth Slawter Black

Catherine Elizabeth (Slawter) Black, “Katie” age 48, of Chester Township, PA, formerly of Toby Farms, PA, died Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Crozer Chester Medical Center.

Katie was born April 20, 1973. Katie was employed at McDonalds in Linwood, PA.

She enjoyed playing video games, going to amusement parks, music, watching scary movies and traveling.  Her favorite holiday was Halloween.

She is the daughter of the late Sanford Lee Slawter, Sr., sister of the late Pete W. and Scott C. Slawter.

Mother: Catherine (Clevenger) Slawter

Brother: Sanford Slawter

Sister: Carol Slawter

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Wednesday, July 21st from 10:00-10:45AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Memorial Service: Wednesday, July 21st at 11:00AM at the funeral home.

Interment: Private.
