Obituary of Truman A. Whitmore, Jr.

Truman A. Whitmore, Jr., age 91, of Garnet Valley, PA, died on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at home.

Truman was employed with PECO at the stores department, where he worked for 32 years. 

Truman was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Brookhaven, PA.  Mr. Whitmore was a 32^nd Degree Mason.

In retirement, Truman enjoyed many years crabbing and fishing on his beloved houseboat on the Upper Chesapeake, as well as fishing on Assateague Island in his 4 wheel truck and camper.

Son of the late Truman A. and Dollyne Kanode Whitmore, Sr., Brother of the late Revelle, Robert and Richard Whitmore, June Piccano, Joan Madigan and Mary Jane Schork.

Survivors:

Loving Wife: Bernice McLaughlin Whitmore

Also survived by many loving and loved nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Friday, May 10^th after 10:00AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Service: Friday, May 10^th at 11:00AM at the funeral home.

Interment: Media Cemetery.
