Sandi Sandi my girl my BFF...I LOVE YOU and I'm gonna miss you bunches! We have been friends for 61 years, you were going steady with my brother George he was 14, you 13 and me 12! When you broke up we stayed friends. When I got pregnant with Danny we married but never lived together and I could not live at home, so your Mom Ms. Oakes let me move in with you, Steve and her...but just until I found my own place. I did and you girl moved in with me and we both split the rent! Then Pam Nairan moved in and we had a party...such fun we had! The time some guy was trying to break into our back door and you running down the middle of the street your hair in curlers encased in a ruffled curler cap, big floppy house slippers, carrying one of our lamps to hit whoever over the head before you got to your Mom's house! Or a few years earlier, you and I going into, The Launching Pad a bar and strip joint, and we were going to order beer when the cops came in the front door we made a dash out the back, and we scaled a 6 ft fence like it was 2ft....laughing so hard we peed our pants! Another time you had your Mom's car, you were 16, me 15, Steve 14 in the back with Tick his friend 13 and Steve had a broken foot sitting on a case of beer a friend bought for us! AND you were pulled over and they discovered the beer, we were riding to the station and I asked the cop to not ride thought town somebody might see us! So many fun times I just can't list them all....We both went our ways, we both married Bob's and had children, we met up from time to time and we were always there for each other! You are the absolute best description of a best friend, you are at the top. Now you are with the Lord and you better tell my Bob I love him, and put in a good word for me, I pray a lot! Sandi girlfriend you will always be in my heart and my mind, never will forget, it is so hard just thinking you are not around for me to call! I LOVE YOU SISTER GIRL!!!!!! PS And you know Chance my Son loves you too!

I am so sorry for your loss. She was a great woman and treated me like one her own. She will be dearly missed. There will never be another Sandy,God really did break the mold when it came to her. My thoughts and prayers are with all of her family. Rest easy Sandy,you will be missed.
