Joyce M. (King) Dobrowolski “Elsie”, age 94, of Brookhaven, PA, formerly of Essington, PA, died peacefully at her daughters’ home on Sunday August 24, 2025.

Joyce was a devoted wife, loving mother, and dedicated homemaker, whose life was centered around the care and well-being of her family and home. She took great joy in baking, always sharing her treats with family and friends. Joyce had a deep passion for crafting, especially drawing, painting, and crocheting, and found great joy in creating beautiful things with her hands. She would spend many hours outside gardening in her yard, admiring the flowers. Joyce would love to sit outside and read when the weather was nice.

Daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Allen) King. Loving wife of the late Theodore Dobrowolski, Sr. (February 2025). Mother of the late Theodore Dobrowolski, Jr.. Sister of the late Dolores Madera and Nancy Kohlbrenner.

Daughter: Patty (Fred) O’Malley

Grandson: Michael (Lisa) O’Malley

Great-Grandson: Logan O'Malley

Visitation: Thursday, September 4th after 10:00AM at the Church of Our Lady of Charity, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, PA 19015.

Funeral Mass: Thursday, September 4th at 11:00AM at the church.

Interment: Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery.
