Kristyne Kealey “Krissy”, age 65, of Rio Grande, NJ, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, died on Monday, August 25, 2025.
Krissy was born in the Schuylkill section of Philadelphia to Charles and Nancy Kealey on December 13, 1959. She was a dedicated and loyal employee of the University of Pennsylvania, with a long tenure of 30 plus years. Krissy enjoyed living close to and spending countless hours with the Baker family. Especially on Christmas mornings, in matching pajamas or going on vacations. She would join them for daily family dinners or to hang out at Prospectors.
Reminiscing about childhood memories from the neighborhood was a favorite topic of Krissy’s. Telling stories of her trips to the mountains or renting houses in Wildwood with her friends. Also, the many good times at the Copper Still. Krissy always loved a good dirty martini.
Krissy cherished the comfort of a good book, often losing herself in stories that sparked her imagination and brought her peace. Krissy lived a simple, yet fulfilling life.
Daughter of the late Charles and Nancy Kealey.
Krissy is survived by her sisters, nieces, and close friends who became family.
A celebration of life will be arranged in the coming weeks.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at the following link. https://www.alz.org/?form=FUNAAXHNMTN
