Obituary of Benjamin S.L. Buck, Jr.

Benjamin S.L. Buck, Jr.,"Ben", died on Saturday, June 25, 2016, in Hillsborough, North Carolina. Born in Chester, Ben had been a lifelong resident of the area, having resided in Chester and Wallingford, PA, before moving to Hillsborough, NC, 2 years ago. Mr. Buck was a graduate of Chester High School. A Navy Veteran, he was employed by Philadelphia Electric Company Gas Division, as a gas systems operator, until his retirement. A member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Chester, PA, since childhood, Ben was active in Masonic organizations, including Chester Lodge #236 F&AM., Penn Forest #21 TCL, Chester Royal Arch Chapter and he was a Shriner. Mr. Buck is survived by his Wife: Betty (nee Kilpatrick) Buck; daughter: Bonnie (Bruce) Walton, son: Bruce (Mary) Buck, a grandson: Todd (Jenice) Walton and a granddaughter Jennifer (Michael) Behringer, also survived by 4 great grandchildren. Funeral Services on Wednesday 10:00 AM from the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA, where friends may call on Tuesday evening after 6:00PM. Masonic Services at 7:30 PM. Interment: Chester Rural Cemetery
