To Mary Jo, John, Noel and Chris & Families:. We were so sad to read of your Dad's passing. Just know that he is re-united with your Mom and at peace. I am sorry we cannot join you at the memorial service, I am recuperating from surgery.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your father. As you are aware your Dad and I worked together from 1977-1984. It was a honor and pleasure to work with such a hardworking honest man . We had a great relationship and I always felt my efforts were appreciated by him. Knowing your mom and you all when you were children was a sincere pleasure you all made us feel like part of the family. I have kept in touch with your mom and Dad over the last 34 years as we were friends. I last saw them both 5 yrs ago it was a nice reunion. I talked to your Dad last summer sharing our regrets over the passing of your mother. I couldn't believe John was still working. His memorial speaks for itself he was a man of action and high accomplishments. I cherish the time working under his leadership at Brandywine. He was the greatest man I ever worked under. As you all know at times 'He roared like a lion but was as gentle as a lamb."
