Dear Sandy and Sue,

Your mom will be dearly missed. She was a classy, wonderful lady. I have fond memories of her always greeting me with a bright smile to welcome me into her home…and I was there A LOT!! Whether she was picking us up from Hidden Hollow Swim Club, hosting a birthday party, or letting us sleep in on Saturday mornings, she was always so cheerful. I will miss her and am so thankful that we lived across the street from each other on good ole Bancroft Drive and remained best friends for all of these years. Ms. Joan was my third mother, I will always have her spirit in my heart! Love her always:) I wish for her family to have peace, knowing how much she loved and was loved.

Some of my fondest memories growing up was going to "Aunt Joan and Uncle Joe's" house. I know we weren't related by blood but our families were so close. We had so much fun together. My prayers are with the family.
