Obituary of Joseph M. Lambert

Joseph M. Lambert, Sr., 96, of Riddle Village, Middletown Twp, Media died Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Riddle Village. Joe was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1914. He graduated from St Joseph's Prep in 1932, received a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Drexel University and a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Pennsylvania. He had been a resident of the Media area for 8 years. Joe began his career at the Philadelphia shipyards during WWII. At war's end, Joe became an Instructor in the Civil Engineering Department of the evening college at Drexel University. Over the next three decades, he served as Instructor, Assistant Department Head and Department Head. Joe also established a civil engineering consulting firm which he continued until his late eighties. Husband of 61 years to the late Florence Shea Lambert who died in 2001. SURVIVORS Son: Joseph M.
