Obituary of Helen Siekierski

SIEKIERSKI, HELEN (nee Urban), age 94, of Brookhaven, PA.  Helen Siekierski passed peacefully on Thursday, October 11, 2018.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Siekierski, who died in 1973.  She is survived by her four children; Martin Siekierski (Mary), Karen Moylan (Michael), Kevin Siekierski (Stephanie) and Susan Kinsey (Craig); her two grandchildren; Jeffrey Moylan and Taylor Moylan and her sister Joann Morgan.

She was a parishioner of The Church of Our Lady of Charity in Brookhaven, PA, and graduated from Chester High School.  Helen retired from the Delaware County Courthouse at the age of 62 and thoroughly enjoyed her retirement.  All her life she was enthusiastic about dancing and frequently attended dances at the Redwood Community Center in Upland, PA.  She loved to dress for any occasion, showing off her carefully thought out outfits to her friends and family, which were always matching, stylish and brightly colored.  Helen was a very avid sports fan, specifically the Philadelphia 76ers, but knew all the star players in both the NBA and WNBA.  She had a voracious appetite for reading and was known for her quick wit and salty sense of humor, as she always had a new collection of jokes to tell at family gatherings.

Services and interment are private at the request of the family.
