Hello Steel family, I recently became really close with Nick this past year. He holds a very special place in my heart. Words cannot describe the frustrated and anger I have towards the situation but I continuously hear Nick telling me to stay positive. He would not want us to be dwelling on the negativity and tragic loss. I wish your family peace and positive healing during this time.

Although I do not know you, Nick was one of my son's, Matthew Bell, best friends. I also used to work with Michelle's mom years ago. I am so saddened by your family's sudden loss and the loss that all of his friends are facing. I know there are no words that will take away your pain but knowing how many lives your son has touched will hopefully bring you peace in the future. I’m Keely Farrell’s mom and I know Nick because they were close friends.I am so sorry for your loss. I knew him to be a great kid and he was at my house many times. I am sure there are no words that I can write to ease your pain. I cannot even begin to understand your pain. I know this world was a better place with him in it. I know he had wonderful friends and he will be sorely missed. I know you raised a good boy and he had love in his heart. I hope one day you all find peace. All my love to you.
