Condolences
Hard to believe it's been five years. Miss you Dad.
Mike is now reunited with his beautiful Rosemary. Rest in Peace, dear friend, Rest in Peace.
Love,
Barbara Brown
We are so sorry to hear about your Dad. Love & Prayers to the whole family
Somehow, all the Murphy kids seemed to find our way to Mom and Dad’s house whenever we heard Mike and Rosemary were coming to visit. No better storyteller than Mike as we gathered around the kitchen table. Already giggling when he would start with “You’re going to like this one …”
My deepest sympathies. I am so sorry for your loss.
To the family of Michael,
We here at NovaCare are deeply sorry to hear about his passing. It was a pleasure working with him and seeing his cheerful smile every week. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Very sorry to hear about you Dad.
To the family I am so, so sorry about your loss. I remember late night, uproarious laughter after a BBQ because both Mike and his late wife Rosemary were such funny, funny people to be around. They say there are no friends like old friends, and their relationship with my parents epitomized that to me.
Apologies I'm still still processing this --it just never occurred to me I'd never see Mike again.
But for some reason one visit comes to mind, when I answered the door and Rosemary comes in, and no-look passes me some bags of Herr's chips with the comment, "Here Matt--put that in a basket or something...I was up all night, with the potato peeling, the baking, the salting, ugh...". and as she passes by (as 14 year old me is still processing the joke) Mike enters, and sees I'm wearing new sneakers which results in "SCUFFIES! SCUFFIES!" as he frantically marks them up with his shoes. Mortified as a teenager, still hilarious 30 years later.
Both irreplaceable and will be missed terribly.
Patrick & Daniel, Mrs. Hess and I are truly sorry for the loss of your Father and please accept our sincere condolences. Unfortunately, we will not be unable to attend the viewing or services on Saturday, but wanted you both to know and the family along with your Father are in our thoughts and prayers. I remember him as a good man when you guys were growing and a friend. Brookhaven will miss him!
Mike & Jeanne Hess
He was a great guy, and will be missed. Mike and Rosemary were the most fun at my parents parties. Even as we got older and moved away, my mom would help get us back to the house by saying, "Mike and Rosemary will be there"! My condolences.
Remembering all the happy and funny times with dad/bop bop.....tighty whites down the steps to yell at 8pm bed times, the VHS audio from return trips at OCMD triplet outings lol, Preakness Weekends, Balloon tie ups to his good friend Andy at Pargo's,
Sunday Family Dinners,Eagles games and game snacks, Erin Pub,Dad pulling a chair up to clear out frig, dad testing cat ear theory, Dad/Bop sleep overs, all the match boxes, throwing coin treasure into sand holes. So many more. Thank you Dad, Bop Bop for our memories. We love you and we will miss you.
All our love always and forever,
Debbie, Michael, Sean (Jenny), MaryKate, and Shannon
