Obituary of Michael L. Rubillo

Michael L. Rubillo, age 73, of Brookhaven, PA, formerly of Folcroft, PA, died Sunday, August 9, 2020 at home surrounded by his family. He was a graduate of Eddystone High School, Class of 1964. Michael was a proud U.S. Marine Corp Veteran, who served during Vietnam, honorably receiving a Purple Heart. He was a life member of the VFW Post #4849 and a life member of the Tinicum Township Fire Company, Station #48. Mr. Rubillo was employed with the U.S. Postal Service for 22 years, retiring in 2007. Michael had a great sense of humor and enjoyed socializing and could strike up a conversation with anyone. Michael had an eye for finding treasures. He enjoyed the Jersey shore and spent the last 28 Summers there with his family and grandkids. While at the shore, he loved bike riding, fishing and most of all spending time with his family making memories. Michael was devoted to his country and his family being the best husband, father and Poppy.
