Obituary of James J. Jenkins

James J. Jenkins, age 80, of Media, PA, formerly of Glenolden, PA, and Aston, PA, died Tuesday, September 8, 2020. James was born February 22, 1940 and was a graduate of Chester High School, Class of 1958. Jim was employed as a Clerical Supervisor with the FBI in Washington D.C. from 1959-1963, then he worked as a Ramp Serviceman for United Airlines from 1963-2000. Jim was a member of the International Association of Machinist & Aerospace Workers. He was a faithful member of Mount Hope United Methodist Church, Aston, PA. Jim collected stamps and coins, loved aviation history and visiting airplane museums. Jim’s true love in life was for his wife and his family, whom he was very dedicated. Loving husband of the late Sandra Mae (Carr) Jenkins, Grandfather of the late Steven Burns; Brother of the late Charles “Buddy”, Ramon, Delores (Walt) and Thomas (Ellen) Survivors: Sons: Mark (Pam) Jenkins and John (Kim) Jenkins Daughter: Susan (Robert) White Grandchildren: Christina, Renee, Mark (Samantha), Amanda, Terry, Robert, Alyson, Mathew (Kate), Adam and William 7 Great-Grandchildren: Brothers: Carl (Nancy)Jenkins and David (Betty) Jenkins Sister: Carol (Richard) Brown Visitation: Friday, September 11th from 10:00-10:45AM at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA. 19063.
