Obituary of James W. Jackson
James W. Jackson, “Jim” - 84 years of age, currently of Kennedale Texas, formerly of: Philadelphia and Delaware County Pennsylvania. Passed on November 15, 2020 at Methodist Mansfield Hospital, Tx. after a short illness with COVID 19. Born and raised in Philadelphia and educated in the Philadelphia school system, he then furthered his education at Drexel University and continued on to achieve an Engineering degree at Widener University. Currently employed by Bell Helicopters in Fort Worth Tx, and retired from Boeing Helicopters, Ridley Park Pa., and Piasecki Helicopters, Delaware County Pa. Other than his career being a number one priority in life, he also was a member of Upland Baptist Church, and an honorary member of Widener University Fraternity.
Predeceased in life by his parents James O. and Edith Jackson (Kitselman), sister Annetta Wiley and his son John W. Jackson.
Survived by his beloved wife Sharon Jackson (Moor), Son James C. Jackson (Jackie), Step daughters; Shannon Doyle (Michael), Melissa McClintock (Steven), Kimberly Boswell (Josh). Grandchildren; Jimmy, Rachel, Layne, Rebecca, Zoey, Abby and Kaiden. Great grandchildren; Jolene, Elizabeth, Jack, Jameson. Cousins Sandy McMillan (Jerry) and Charles Kitselman (Betty) and many amazing friends.
Memorial Service: Will be determined at a future date due to COVID 19 Pandemic.
