Mary Katherine Poole

Katherine, age 96, formerly of Brookhaven, passed away peacefully at The Summit at Glen Mills on Monday, February 22, 2021.  She is predeceased by her husband, Harold E. Poole; brother, Conley F. Price and sister Doris P. Thomas.  Surviving, brother, James B. Price.

Katherine was born in Abingdon, VA and was the daughter of the late Bertie Holloway Price and Clarence B. Price.  She lived in Wytheville, VA, before moving to PA in 1953.  She worked at Coebourn Elementary School Cafeteria, was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels in Aston for many years and was a longtime member of Christ United Methodist Church.  She was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. She enjoyed watching game shows, wood working, counted cross stitch projects, crocheting and gardening.  Her real joy in life was being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  Her most joyous and precious times were in her home surrounded by her family which meant everything to her.

We were all so very blessed to have her all these years and she will remain in our hearts forever.

Our family will be forever grateful for the care she received by the staff at The Summit at Glen Mills, Bayada Hospice, and Victorias’ Home Care.

Todd (Laura) Fenstermaker, Brian Reynolds, Keith (Gina) Reynolds, Andrew Geer, Eric (Vaelua) Geer, Emily (Michael) Garvey, Jonathan (Emily Mamola) Poole.

13 Great-Grandchildren:

Dylan, Claire, Blake, Riley, Ilo, Bradley, Madison, Michael, Logan, Haley, Samantha, Caroline, Caitlyn

She had many loving nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
