Condolences
My heartfelt condolences are extended to Dolores' children, and her extended family for this great loss. Dolores, Wilbur and I became friends in high school, when I began to know her as such a beautiful and sweet person .She will always be remembered with many fond memories. Rest in peace, Dolores.
Our deepest sympathy to the Andrews and DiSimone family. We are so sorry to hear of Dolores passing. She was a beautiful, vibrant, bubbly women with such a sweet voice, like her Mother. Dolores
was part of a close knit, caring family who loved her deeply. She will be greatly missed by all. Now she can reunite with her loving husband Wilbur and the sweetest parents ever, Aunt Mary and Uncle Vito. Rest in peace Dolores. Love, Elizabeth and Joe Conte.

Our deepest sympathy to Dolores' children and grandchildren and also her sisters and brother, such a close, loving family. Very sad to hear this family loss. Dolores was certainly a kind, warm person who was always genuinely glad to hear how all her cousins, families were doing. Childhood stories and memories of the DiAmicis, Desimone, DeVico families, etc are heartwarming treasures which will be shared over and over as Dolores was one of those special cousins. Sending thoughts, prayers and hugs to all of you at this difficult time. Love, Anthony, Linda, Jillian, Bubba, Rocco, Lindsey DeVico

I truly am very sorry about the loss of a loved one my cousin Dolores. She will surely be missed by many within her family and outside of her family. I remember Dolores as a spirited happy individual who was always kind and pleasant and easy to communicate with. As a child growing up the DiAmicis family and the DeSimone family were very close and we all visited each other frequently. My father John and Dolores's mother Mary were brothers and sisters and we lived probably less than a mile apart. I can remember so many times as a child my father walking us up to 24th street from Garden City to visit with them. I have so many good memories of those times. To Dolores's sisters, brother, children and grandchildren I am truly sorry that you have lost a very dear person, especially under these very difficult times. My thoughts and prayers are with you all and I hope to see you all again sometime soon under much better circumstances. Enjoy your memories of Delores as many others will, may she rest in peace and find happiness in heaven.
Cousin Jack
I have so many special memories of Dolores who I have known since first grade. My most recent memories are from our Card Club. Eight young mothers who started playing cards over 45 years ago. We all looked forward to getting out of the house for that one special night.
Dolores was the self-proclaimed President of the Club. We all deferred to her when questions arose like “does 5 of a kind beat a Royal straight flush”?
We laughed and talked more than we actually played cards, sharing family joys, child upbringing, illnesses, etc.
I don’t know how we will ever be able to get together again to play cards when there will always be the empty chair that was Dolores’.
To Regina, Becky and Wilbur, please take some solace in knowing that your Mom was super special, and will be missed tremendously by everyone who had the pleasure to be her friend.

I have many beautiful and funny memories of Dolores but this particular one stands out the most.. We were 18 years old and just graduated from Notre Dame High School when Dolores asked me to accompany her to LA to visit her brother Sonny. While we were there we did the usual tourist excursions but we also had this desire to do a road trip to Tijuana Mexico. We borrowed a car that was about 100 years old and began our journey that was a scene from Thelma and Louise. We finally crossed the border of Tijuana to find hundred of vendors on the other side waiting to converge on us. Well, we didn't disappoint them, bring back a very large iron candelabra , velvet paintings and many souvenirs that filled the back seat of the car. Needless to say, that our trip back to Philly on the airplane was not appreciated by the other passengers. We had a blast!!!!
I will miss you Dolores.........thanks for the memories!!! I Love you.
Regina, Becky and Wilbur I feel your pain and I am so sorrow for your loss.
From my heart love and sorrow,

Regina, Becky, Wilbur and the entire family. Dan and I are so sorry to hear of Dolores’s passing and send our deepest condolences. Dolores was a good friend to me for years. I will forever cherish the memories of the fun times of our “Card Club” nights over the many, many years we met. I am sorry we are unable to attend Dolores’s mass.
We are so sorry for your loss,
Edie and Dan DiNicola
- [ ] I haven’t seen Dolores for over 50 years but I have crystal clear memories of her. I knew both she and Wilber many years ago. I met Wilber first and we went to the shore as part of a group of guys during summer weekends as teens. Wilber was one of the nicest guys I ever met. Dolores was a sweet, young woman whom I dated years later. But, it was clear she was still totally in love with her childhood sweetheart, Wilber. They were a match made in heaven. Dolores was beautiful both inside and out and had maturity well past her years, and she possessed a boatload of common sense. Her family was very important to her and it showed. I’ve see pictures of her and Wilber’s children and grandchildren online and can sense Dolores’s love of family continued on and has passed on to those she’s left behind. My deepest condolences to her loving family and friends who are coping with the sadness of losing a beautiful light in their lives.
