Mona was full of life when she was a teenager, I can remember her getting into my father’s car in front of Upland Baptist Church after some function. It was an old car and she put her foot through the floor. I can’t remember who else was in the car, but I remember all the laughter. Always a bright light. Sorry to learn of her passing.

Fly high Mona. You will be missed by so many, I saw your beautiful soul, the beautiful, caring and easy way you had. You came here with a gentleness of a fawn. I will see you again one day Mona, until then, May your soul take the rest it needs before going on it’s next adventure ❤️

Mona was a dear lifelong friend. She was always hear for me and my family. She was so very special to my son Shawn. He loved her dearly. I know she is at peace with her son Aaron . I will love her and miss her for the rest of my days. She saw me through some heart aches in my life. Was there every time I needed her. Rest in Paradise my dear sweet friend. We had so many good times together.
