Condolences
My sympathy and condolences to her family, I can't imagine how much she will be missed by them. I met her in High School at Notre Dame and we clicked immediately, we graduated in 1965 and have always kept in touch through cards and when I finally got on Facebook, it was much more. I looked forward everyday to her posts and her wit, charm and humor!
Yes we have all lost a bright star in our lives, but our loss is Heavens gain and knowing she is with the love of her life, makes it easier to accept and she will always shine in our hearts!
I was so saddened to hear of Kathy's passing. We grew up together and went on many, many escapades: skating at Crum Creek, putting on "talent shows", making and trying to sell perfume made from flowers in our parents' yards, and days of summer just having fun and riding bikes. She was one of the most upbeat people I've ever known and, despite living on opposite sides of the country, we kept in touch through birthday and Christmas cards filled with updates on her life and family. Kathy always made me laugh as her sense of humor was contagious. I will miss her cards and correspondence and I think the world is just a little less bright without her in it. Thanks for all the good times Kathy. You will be missed by many.
My sincere and heartfelt condolences to her family.
Kathy was a childhood friend. Our friendship continued throughout our lives. She was truly one in a million, with her wit, compassion and love. I will truly miss her.My best memory of her was when she, my sister Ruth and myself rode our bikes on the Media by pass before it was comp!eted. Got into a bit of trouble for that one. I will miss you my friend.
I remember Kathy walking to high school every day. It was about 1 1/2 miles. She walked it every day, all thru winter, rain, slush, sleet, hot, cold. Then when she got a job in downtown Media she walked there every day for about a year till she bought a car. This girl was tough. But mostly I remember her laughing and telling jokes. She really loved Roy. And her kids. And her grandkids. I think she loved me but she went at me with a baseball bat for some unknown reason. I locked myself in my room so she smashed the door all up.Doors can be replaced. I will miss her.
Our prayers, love and hugs are with all of you. Kathy and Roy were our beautiful friends. May God bless you all and keep your in his arms. I will miss Kathy great humor.
