Condolences
Chuck was a very good neighbor. He watched out for everyone. He helped in any way he was able. I look out towards his house every day and mourn knowing we will not see him walking along the road again. But I trust we will see him again. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. Amen.
Our friend Chuck loved his animals, tinkering with tools, talking about what he's making for dinner and his German culinary talents , talking politics, giving advice, and last but not least, his quiet little oasis back in the woods where he lived like a true Renaissance man, not usually needing any help from anyone. We admired him for his service to our country and his integrity to all who knew him. We think we can speak for the neighborhood when we say he willed be missed, but there is some comfort in knowing Chuck knew Jesus Christ as his savior as he told us many times. Rest in peace Chuck. Chuck was our neighbor. He looked out for all of us. My husband died 2 years ago but before that he and Chuck visited almost every day. They did not agree politically or religiously but really enjoyed their debates. Chuck always kept us informed on sales and deals at our nearby food stores and fast food establishments. Chuck fed the dear and the foxes and many of the neighbors helped him by saving treats for the animals. Chuck continued after my husband passed to have visits and conversations with my son.
