Obituary of M. Louise Bunner

M. Louise Bunner (Hampe), age 80, of Media, PA, formerly of New Brighton, PA, died Monday, July 12, 2021 at Lima Estates.

Louise was born on October 30, 1940.  She was a graduate of Geneva College.   Louise married Barrie in March of 1968.

Louise was an elementary school teacher at Rose Tree Media School District and Penn Delco School District.  She was also a member of the Public School Employees’ Retirement System (PSERS), Pennsylvania State Education Association (PSEA), and the National Education Association (NEA).

Louise was a member of Ridley Park Presbyterian Church.

Louise enjoyed racquetball, traveling, baking, photography, listening to “her Elvis” songs and discussing her family’s ancestry research.  She was an avid fan, rooting for her Sixers, Steelers and Eagles teams. She also enjoyed reading, going to the movies and swimming in her pool. Most of all she cherished socializing with her best friends Suzy and Betty, and being with her family.

Wife of the late Barrie S. Bunner, a loving Father and Husband.

Daughter: Jennifer (Ken) Simpson (Bunner)

Grandchildren: Steven, Morgan, Kenny and Kolten

Brother: Gus (Judy) Hampe

Sister: Marge Straub

Also survived by many nieces and nephews

Visitation: Friday, July 16th from 11:30AM-12:15PM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Service: Friday, July 16th at 12:30PM at the funeral home.

Interment: Private.
