Obituary of Eleanor ALBAUGH Richmond

Eleanor “Ellie” H. ALBAUGH Richmond, age 98, of Brigantine, NJ, formerly of Eddystone, PA, and Sebring, Florida, died Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Atlanticare Medical Center, NJ. Ellie was born February 26, 1923 in Upland, PA, to the late Albert and Mary (McKnight) Wood.

Ellie was employed at Habbersett Brothers and Eddystone Print Works. She was a volunteer with the Red Cross and frequently transported to blood banks. Ellie was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police in Eddystone, PA, and the Eddystone Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and especially dancing.  Ellie loved to surround herself with family, friends and lots of laughter. 

Wife of the late George Albaugh and Frank Richmond; Great-Grandmother of the late Jonathan and Matthew Albaugh.

She is survived by her Children:  Albert (Florence) Albaugh, Doris (the late William) Bolton, and George (Kris) Albaugh, III.

Grandmother of:  William (Helen), Michael (Penny), Jeffrey, Nannette (Andy), Sharon (Dave), Lori, Kevin, and Daniel (Lauren).

Great-Grandmother of:  Nicole, Alexa, Carlie, Brandon, Jason, Leah, Andrew, Savannah, Alana, and Sophia.

Visitation:  Tuesday, August 10^th  from 10:00-10:45AM at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media 19063.

Funeral Service:  Tuesday, August 10^th at 11:00 AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home.

Interment:  Chester Rural Cemetery.
