TRIBUTE TO MS. MARGIE
Ms. Margie, as we fondly called her, was a very dear friend and a spiritual sister
to us. She was always full of very interesting and impactful stories to share. Our
fondest memory is her unwavering love for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and
how focused she was on doing things that blessed the Lord. Ms. Margie was full of
love and always positive, and it showed in everything that she did. Her Love for
Christ was contagious, and she carried it everywhere she went. Another fond
memory of Ms. Margie was when we went together to watch the Gaither’s
concert at American Music in Lancaster, PA. Just before we left home for the
concert, we started reminiscing about some of the anointed songs by the Gaither
Vocal Band, and wondering what our favorite Gaither songs were: soon we all
burst out singing the chorus of Ms. Maggie’s and our favorite Gaither song:
“Because He lives, I can face tomorrow,
Because He lives, all fear is gone,
Because I know He holds the future,
And life is worth the living,
Just because He lives!”
Ms. Margie, we miss you, but because Jesus lives, we know that you are in a
better place and we on this side of heaven, can face our tomorrows with courage
just like you did. Rest in peace in the Lord Jesus Christ until that glorious
resurrection morning when we shall see again face to face.

Margie was a sweet woman who had a ready smile and a willing heart. She will be missed, but I know she rejoices to be with her Lord.
We are so sad about this. Margie was a spark of joy in the lives of everyone she met. Our shared time at Seaside Home will always be remembered, especially the walks to the lighthouse, the talent shows and her grandmotherly adoption of our children. Her perseverance and talent is an example to us all. And most of all her love of Jesus and everyone around her. We miss you, Margie.
Margie came from a family with strong faith and big hearts. She was my second cousin.
May she be at Peace
We wanted to share a couple of videos of Margie that we enjoy so much.

We hope you enjoy them, too.
Our memories of Margie are memories of joy. She shared the joy of the Lord whenever we saw her--and she brightened our Seaside visits whenever we saw her there. Jesus was the foundation of her life and of the joy she shared so widely. We will miss her! I will always wish I'd called a week or two ago and could have spoken with her one last time. I'm glad she is with Jesus!
Margie,
Your smile and love of our Lord was evident in do many ways that the world will miss you and yet, when our time happens, you be the one of those greeting us, and take our hand and introduce us to our risen savior!
We have known Margie for what I believe must be about 37 years (and we’re exhausted!). Besides her unwavering love of God, her next most noticeable feature was her sense of adventure. We once asked her if she would be interested in filling an empty seat in our vacation to Florida. We were leaving in 3 days. She was in our driveway the next morning. When we couldn’t make a trip to Tennessee, we asked her if she wanted to take our place. She said yes immediately, and we only had to find a family of 5 to keep her in check. One year, we spent the whole summer sending her daily clues for the PA Gospel Music Festival in Hershey. To the best of our knowledge, she never figured out the destination and even on the first day of the trip, she only got driving clues in about 20-mile increments. All those months of hearing her giggles and laughter was infectious. We all had a wonderful time. We did it all over again a couple of years later, again, not letting her know the destination, taking her to the Billy Graham Library and then to Dollywood at Christmas. Seeing her joy was her biggest gift to us. And don’t let us forget the rollercoasters! The wilder, the better. She couldn’t get enough of them. Everyone could hear her squealing laughter from 100 feet above while we would get squeamish just watching her. Someone once referred to her as a little Minion which opened the door to years of Minion jokes, Minion glasses, Minion cereal, Minion toothbrushes, etc. She laughed harder at every instance. And that is how we will remember her, laughing her way past her challenges, bringing joy to all she met, and never missing an opportunity to share God’s love. Dear Margie, we will miss our Little Minion.
Margie had such a sweet sweet contagious spirit. I never heard her complain about anything the short time I knew her. When she would come to the church office to drop something off, or either see how she could serve in any capacity needed, she was always just a joy to talk to. She will be missed ,however Heaven is rejoicing. Miss you my friend

I was so saddened to hear of our dear sister Margie’s passing the other day. As others have said, she was one who exuded the joy and love of the Lord. She was so young at heart, I was shocked when I learned tonight what her actual age was! The absence of her young and vibrant spirit will be keenly felt by all who knew her, particularly among her church family at Covenant Fellowship. Rest well, Margie, and we will meet again on the other side!
It is difficult to realize that Margie is at home with the Lord she knew and loved!
As so many others with attest, she has been a member of our extended family for years. Family get togethers won't seem the same without her sweet presence.
"Just think of stepping on shore and finding it heaven. Touching a handle and finding it God's. Breathing new air and finding it celestial. Waking up in Heaven and finding it HOME. Finally Home!"

Margie--Such a beautiful and incredible woman and servant of God! Always a smile on her face, never complaining about anything in life and ALWAYS such a joy to be around and to talk with. So glad to have been a friend of hers for so many years, sharing prayers and e-mails and conversations of life and the Lord. A woman who was always available to serve in ANY ways she could--never ever idle-- always going about her Father's work! Our loss is certainly heavens gain! I will especially remember too, how she loved the youth of our church--at most dinners she was always sitting at a table full of them--so loved by so many--children and adults too! I know God has her ordained to be on His "greeters list" up there when we all arrive HOME someday! But till then, she is whole and happy and dancing with the rest we know there and "No more Sorrows, no more pain!" You made such an impact in all our lives, Sweet Sister!
Missing you till then!!!!

Ms, Margie has been my next door neighbor for about 3 years…we actually adopted her lol….my kids and nieces loved her…. We would do dinners and just talk, we took Margie to my grandparents house and she jumped right on our jet ski and she was laughing so loud having a great time or when u were in Justin’s tow truck laughing away you always made everything positive . Margie just wasn’t my neighbor she was my friend and I’m gonna miss her so much…. I’m gonna miss asking u were your going and if you will be home, miss seeing you outside, your texts saying your won’t be home… I’m just gonna miss you….you were the kindest most loving person I’ve ever met.. always in my heart I love you ms. Margie
I still remember the first time I met Margie at Covenant Fellowship Church. I had recently returned from living in Oregon and was reacclimating myself back into CFC. One morning as I sat behind her, Margie lifted her twisted arms and hands and swayed with the music as she abandoned herself to worship to the Holy and Worthy Lord Jesus. I couldn't hear her voice amidst the crowd, but I know it was a joyful noise that was accepted and celebrated by the King of Kings.
Through the years, I had the honor of seeing Margie serve, with a consistent joy and kindness, the people of Covenant Fellowship, in whatever ways she could. Her smile, greetings, and hugs will be missed by many.
My wife, Debbie, commented on Margie's passing that though we are saddened by our loss of our friend, we rejoice that Margie is rejoicing with the Lord. I'm sure when she saw the Lord, the very first thing he said to her was "Welcome home, Margie, my good and faithful servant. Receive the rewards I promised you and see the mansion I've prepared for you." And I know Margie's response was to again raise her arms and hands to worship Him; only now, she worships with a new body, with new strength, and with new passion.
I miss you, Sister, as all of us do! We'll see you soon!
Love,
Jimmy
Many years ago, when my grandkids were in VBS. I would see this amazing woman running around serving wherever needed. I would also see her serving on Sunday mornings, and many other areas in the church. I did not know Margie at that time but thought how she must love to serve and do it joyfully. Only after she became part of my care group did I begin to know her better. And, knowing Margie was a blessing. She was a sweet, caring woman who loved her Lord. Talking and laughing with her was so much fun. Hearing all she did for so many people always amazed me that she had so much time to give of herself. She had even served me when I had knee surgery by giving me rides to and from group activities. Keeping in touch often to let me know she was praying for my recovery. Even surprised my family with a delicious meal, including dessert, one night. Just as I was getting to know this wonderful woman, God called her home. My life has been so blessed to know Margie. I know she is happy and dancing with Jesus in Heaven. God bless you, Margie. Debbi F.
