Obituary of Jane Knight Major

Jane Knight Major, age 91 of Boothwyn, PA,  our loving mother, went to be with her late husband, Roman and three sisters on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Seasons Hospice of Delaware.  Born on November 1, 1930 to Nelson and Ella, the youngest of four girls.  After graduation from high school, she married her love, Roman and lovingly raised four children along with working different jobs until settling on her final career, grooming dogs.  They retired and moved to the eastern shore.

After losing her first love, Jane found a second love with Bill. They spent their time between Florida and Maryland. Jane loved music and dancing; along with spending time with family and friends.

Jane will be greatly missed by her surviving loved ones.

Wife of the late Roman H. Major,  Daughter of the late Nelson and Ella Knight; Sister of the late Lucille Hinderhofer, Alberta Neubert and Eleanor Wetzel

Daughters: Carol (Jerry) Rainey and Linda (Skip) Dunbar

Sons: Wesley (Bernie) Major and Perry Major

Grandchildren: Hillary (Paul) Kenny, Jessica (Pat) Burns, Allison (Joe) Farley, Wesley (Kelsey) Major, Jordan Major, Justin Major

Great-Grandchildren: Jane Burns, Finn Burns, Calee Burns, Brayden Kenny, Bryce Kenny, Maebh Kenny, Rainey Farley, JP Farley

Loving Companion: Bill Oxenford
