I am so sad to have just heard that Vinnie is no longer with us in this world. Vinnie was a co-worker and friend for the past 5+ years. It was impossible to pass Vinnie in the hallway and not stop and talk with him - it didn't matter where you were headed or when you had to be there, his warm smile and caring nature were like so very few have and you were grateful for knowing him and being able to spend time talking with him. Even after he'd had his first heart scare years ago while he struggled physically it didn't diminish the smile on his face and time he had for people. The world has been a much better place for having had Vinnie in it, and I am sure and happy that he is happy where he is now.

We thank the Lord for allowing us to have Vinnie walk with us in life. He brought us caring warmth and humor. He knew the importance of life and we thank him for sharing it. Condolences to Marlene, Tori, and Michael.

As a former co-worker of his, I was heartbroken to hear of Vinnie’s passing. I only knew him for a short time, but boy his wit, playful sarcasm and kind spirit will be missed. Sending prayers for healing to his family, to whom it was abundantly clear that he loved dearly. We lost a good one. Blessings.

Vinnie will be sorely missed. He was a true and loyal friend. He was fun loving, always ready with a funny remark or a cutting political opinion. Summer cook-outs, Holiday gatherings and Super Bowl Parties will never be the same without him.

Although he was a dyed in the wool New York Giants fan we still loved him.

I first met Mr. Marotta when I was a freshman at Widener. Mike started out as my enemy. He was 1 of 15 or so other OLBs on the football team. We quickly became best friends, and long story short he was the best man in my wedding and my best friend to this day. Almost as soon as Mike and I became friends Mr. Marotta became a friend as well. Despite the fact that he was a Giants and Yankees fan he let this eagles fan become a part of the family. Over the years I have been lucky enough to have many memories with Mr. Marotta. We’ve watched football together, played golf, even took a trip to Vegas to celebrate Mike’s 21st birthday (and had scotch and cigars like gentleman) on multiple occasions. Mr. Marotta always made me feel welcome every time I was able to visit Pennsylvania. Mr. Marotta (the old Bullwinkle) will be greatly missed. RIP

My brother was the best! The best brother any little girl could ever hope for. My two brothers now are in Heaven looking down on us and forever in our hearts. He used to tickle me when he came home from college. I would laugh unceasingly to the point I couldn’t breathe. Why so young? Such a wonderful man, why so young? I will always love him.
