Condolences
Fred was an amazing man and I was blessed to have the pleasure in being his Family Doctor for over 20 years. Family was everything to Fred, and he certainly had a great Family! I will miss seeing Fred and his Family in my office, but I have peace and solace in knowing he is in Heaven, waiting for all of us to some day see his great smile again!
-Dr. John Munshower
I'd like to start by wishing the family and freinds of Fred my sincerest condolences for your loss. I had a professional relationship with Fred... being a Healthcare professional working with him on a weekly basis for a large majority of the 3 years prior to his passing. But Fred and his family embraced me as if I were family, and I am very appreciative of that. The positive qualities he had consistently showed were determination, dedication, and inner strength. All throughout time I worked with him, he remained very positive and kept his sense of humor even as his physical health was progressively declining.
Blessings!!
The world is a better place because Fred Sach was in it with every fiber of his being. Teacher, mentor, leader, husband, father, servant, scout - you name it, Fred excelled. He was the consummate gentleman. My family had the privilege of knowing him in several areas of his life. I had him as Scoutmaster for a half dozen years and as 9th Grade biology teacher. Never heard a bad word said about him from a fellow scout or student. My brothers and I often reminisce fondly about our days in Woodlyn 43 and we’re all grateful for the role he played in developing us into young men. My thoughts go out to his family.

I was a student in Jeanne Gates’ music class at Ridley Township Jr. High School when she got engaged to Mr. Sach. She was SO happy! Her excitement was evident to all of us. It is a wonderful memory about young love. I also knew the couple from St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Woodlyn, PA. Wonderful music! My condolences to Jeanne and her family. Pat Morrissey
To my Scoutmaster...
In my 55 years on Earth, I have never seen someone so passionate about a particular cause. To be a Scoutmaster for over 60 years, requires so much caring, patience and dedication. If we were to measure the character of a man by the amount of lives they have positively impacted, then Mr Sach was at the top of the charts. Thank you for setting such a great example for so many young men. See you at the great camp fire in the sky.

Mr Sach was a wonderful man. He took a chance on me and gave me a chance to do something that is one of the greatest memories I have. No other teacher saw anything in me or went out on a limb like he did. I will always remember him fondly.
My condolences go out to his family.
I feel like I lost a father figure in my life. My mother was a single parent with 3 boys. If it weren't for Mr Sach, I wouldn't have won a science award in 9th grade (he put me in for it). He introduced me to science and even showed me how to operate the electron Microscope in Ridley North Jr High. He introduced me to the outdoors as a Scout and mentored me for years until I joined the USAF in 1987. He inspired me to continue on my Scouting Journey as an adult volunteer holding positions in the New Birth of Freedom Council as a District Commissioner, ADC, Trainer, and Dean of the Commissioner College. I ALWAYS tell others that he was one of my 3 father figures growing up. Mr Sach, Pastor David Krewson, and Couch Carl Schnellenach make up the three.
With lots of love and compassion, you will always be in my Heart.
Troop 43 will truly miss him! So many young lives he touched and guided. So many grateful parents. His legacy will truly live on. Big hugs to all!
May the Great Scoutmaster of all Scouts be with us until we meet again.

Woodlyn Troop #43
From Beth Feller: Mr. Sach was an excellent teacher in the Ridley School District and a member of my church, St Matthew's Lutheran Church in Woodlyn. He and his wife Jeanne were a big part of my church family and we shared great times there, especially in the choir! He will be greatly missed. Sending love to Jeanne and the family.
Our deepest condolences to Mr. Sach's family. He was a great leader for many years for Troop 43. He touched many young men's lives and was exemplary of what the scout law and motto is all about. The Scouting world has truly lost a great man and leader. Scott Mann Troop 339 Leedom Estates Charter Org. Rep.
