Obituary of John Icaro

John Icaro, “Johnny" age 63, a lifelong resident of Brookhaven, PA, died on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at home.  John was born in Chester, PA, and was a graduate of Sun Valley High School, Class of 1977.

John was employed as a Sales Representative with Stroehmann Bakeries, retiring in 2016.  Johnny owned Dante’s Deli in Aston, PA, as well as a  7-Eleven in Wilmington, DE. He also worked at the Church of St. Joseph’s in maintenance.

Johnny was a member of the REAL Church in Brookhaven, PA.  He was extremely handy fixing small engines, lawn mowers and landscaping equipment. Johnny was devoted to his family and friends.  He always had a smile on his face and enjoyed a good joke. He will be dearly missed.

Visitation: Wednesday, June 29th from 9:00-10:15AM at the REAL Church, 301 Edwards Drive, Brookhaven, PA 19015

Funeral Service: Wednesday, June 29th at 10:30AM at the REAL Church.

Interment: Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery, Linwood, PA, at a later date.
