It has been an honor know Ernie and Edna through Reformation Lutheran Church. When my family and I joined Reformation, Edna and Ernie were one of the first people to come and welcome us. Such a beautiful and loving couple - always with smiles. My heart goes out to Edna at the loss of Ernie - but I celebrate the wonderful life he lead and the beautiful family he and Edna created. My love and prayers are with Edna and family.
There was no doubt that Ernie grew up on a farm surrounded by a large loving family. He was just plain solid and dependable and always had something nice to say. What a great team: Edna with all her energy and projects and calm, reliable Ernie always there to help. He was a large part of the Reformation Lutheran Church Family and we will celebrate is grand life!
With fond memories,

For 55 years I have been blessed to call him my Uncle Ernie. He has been the patriarch of the Bogert family almost all of my life. You could always count on Uncle Ernie to tell a story of the good old days. I loved to hear him tell stories of life on the farm. If you had a science question he was the one to go to for help. He was always present at a birthday, graduation or gathering I loved that he would come even if Aunt Edna had a prior commitment. He said he knew there would be good company and good food. We will miss you Uncle Ernie. Until we meet again we will keep an extra eye on Aunt Edna. Love you with all our heart. Love, Becky and Family
