Obituary of Catherine F. Fisher

Catherine F. “Kay” Fisher, age 97, of Middletown Twp., Media, PA, died Friday, October 28, 2022 at her daughter’s home. Kay was born in Lynn, MA and had been a longtime Middletown Twp. resident. She was a graduate of Saugus High School, Saugus, MA.  Kay was employed as a secretary for decades at various companies including General Electric, Noyes Insurance, and St. Joseph School. In addition she was a volunteer at Riddle Hospital.

Kay was an active parishioner of The Church of St. Joseph’s, Aston, PA.  She enjoyed knitting, baking and gardening. Most of all, Kay cherished spending time with her family.

Wife of 45 years to the late Frederick Fisher, who died in 1991; Daughter of the late George  and Mary Margaret Lynch; Sister of the late George “Bud” Lynch.

Survivors:

Daughters: Pamela (James) Kirkland, Cheryl Fisher

Grandchildren: Scott (Chrissy) Kirkland, Andrew (Marie) Kirkland, Kelly (Patrick) Butler

Great-Grandchildren: Kylie, Noah, Joel, Ben, Alana, Nate, Ethan, Isabella and Julianna

Also survived by many nieces and nephews including special niece, Donna (Rick) Lanney, and special nephews: George (Martha) Lynch, James (Cynthia) Lynch and John Lynch

Visitation:  Saturday, November 5^th from 9:00-10:30AM at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Mass: Saturday, November 5^th at 11:00AM at The Church of St. Joseph, 3255 Concord Rd., Aston, PA 19014.

Interment: Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, PA.
