Obituary of Caroline M. McMaster
Caroline M. (McMillion) McMaster, age 79, died Friday, November 4, 2022. Caroline was most recently from West Grove, PA and was a longtime resident of Delaware County, PA. She was a graduate of Ridley High School, Class of 1961. Caroline was a hostess with the Frontier Saloon for 25 years and Picas Restaurant for 20 years.
She enjoyed swimming, dancing, jigsaw puzzles and playing cards. Caroline loved to travel. Most of all, she cherished her family.
Wife of the late Lieutenant Colonel Herbert McMaster (U.S. Army Retired), who died in 2018; brother of the late Raymond McMillion.
Survivors:
Daughters: Sandra (Keith) Swayne of Newark, DE and Caroline (Joseph) Walters of New Castle, DE.
Son: Edward (Rogen) Meredith of Aston, PA.
Sister: Marie (Samuel) Wilson of Lincoln University, PA
Sister-in-Law: Shirley McMillion of Millsboro, DE
Survived by 8 Grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren
Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews
Visitation: Friday, November 11th from 12:00PM-12:45PM at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA. 19063, followed by the funeral service at 1:00PM.
Interment: Private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Caroline to: Willow Tree Hospice, 616 E. Cypress St., Kennett Square, PA 19348.
