Obituary of Joan E. Harlon

Joan E. (Davis) Harlon, age 78, died Thursday, November 24, 2022 at home.  Joan was born November 26, 1943 to the late Webster and Dorothy (Culin) Davis.  She was a resident of Aston, PA prior to moving to Woodlyn, PA 41 years ago.  After earning her High School degree, she later became an Assembler for Moog, Inc. in Springfield, PA.  

Joan made many friends as a member of the Red Hat Society.  She enjoyed spending time at the Parkside and Upland Senior Center, where she enjoyed meeting new people.  She was a woman devoted to her faith and was an active member of The Bridge Church, formerly known as Marcus Hook Baptist Church.  Joan was an enthusiastic Dallas Cowboy football fan.  She was devoted to her family and cherished the time they spent together.  Joan had a special spot in her heart for her furry friend, Cindy.

Joan was predeceased by her Fiance, Tony Daliessio; Brothers, Webster (Bud) Davis, Jr. and John Davis; Sister, Dolores Berger

Survivors:  Son, Rick (Diane) Harlon; Grandaughter, Jordan Harlon; Niece, Sabrina (Greg) Haschak; Sister, Dorothy Marvin; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation:  Thursday, December 1st after 10:30 AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Service:  Thursday, December 1st at 11:30 AM at the Funeral Home.  

Interment:  Mt. Hope Cemetery.
