Obituary of Barbara Miron

Barbara Lovell Miron (Lockwood) age 83, of Greentown, PA, formerly of Aston, PA, died on Friday, December 23, 2022.  Barb was a graduate of Eddystone High School, Class of 1957 and a graduate of Philadelphia General Nursing School, Class of 1959. Barb worked at Sacred Heart Hospital, Crozer Chester Medical Center, Ellen Memorial in Honesdale, PA, and the Jewish Home of Northeast Pennsylvania.

Barb was a member of the Eastern Star. She was also actively involved with T.O.P.S., an organization nationwide for weight loss, Take Off Pounds Sensibly.

Wife of the late Joseph J. Miron, Sr. ; mother of the late Joseph J. Miron, Jr., sister of the late Walter N. Lockwood.

Daughter:  Rebecca Ann (Michael) Dotter

Grandmother of Christopher and Matthew Landon, Michael and Mark Dotter

Great-Grandmother of Laela R. Landon and Christopher T. Landon

Sister of Miriam E. Kline and Milton “Sonny” Lockwood

Visitation:Monday, January 9th from 6:00-8:00PM and Tuesday, January 10th after 10:00AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, January 10th at 11:00AM at the funeral home.

Interment: Lawn Croft Cemetery.
