Condolences
I graduated from CBC in 1975. I took just one class (Gospel & Epistles of John) with Dr. Palma. It was one of my very favorite classes and I never forgot Dr. Palma. He was truly an outstanding teacher My sincere condolences to his family.

The Palmas were such good friends while we teaching at the American Indian Bible College in Phoenix. We enjoyed eating with the after attending Faith assembly of God church. They (and we) would alternatively select the restaurant.
We spent many hours playing table games in both homes.
They were very special people!

Dr. Palma was my professor in Central Bible College (CBC). He was a dear family friend. He was my uncle Rev. E. Joseph Perna's room mate in Eastern Bible Institute (now Valley Forge Christian University) in 1947. To me he was like a mentor. He opened by mind and my heart through his teaching of Bible scriptures. His life and that of his lovely wife were examples to us.
I also remember visiting briefly with him in Naples Italy when he was serving in the US Nave in the 1950s. But he was always an warm outgoing person with all our family.
When I was at CBC, he not only taught classes I attended but would also have me over to their home for dinner near the campus.
I last visited him and his wife when I returned to Philadelphia for my cousin's funeral. I visited with him one day in their retirement apartment, but I loved to talk Biblical doctrine with him so I tried to call him from time to time from Oklahoma City where my wife and I are retired after 50s of missions. I last spoke with in in early December 2022. He leaves a great void in my heart but I can look forward to spending eternity with him. I will miss him more than words can express.
So grateful for Dr. Palma's lifetime love of the Bible and accurately teaching it so well. He was a key voice in my development as a minister and professor and I hope I can carry just a bit of the flame he bestowed to so so many.
Anthony was one of our dearest friends and fellow colleagues. His memory will never fade, because his testimony in Christ never faltered. May God give strength to his family and other friends.
