Condolences
I just found out of John's passing so I wanted to pass along my sincerest condolences to his family. John was like an older brother to me and a mentor at Scott Paper/KC. He helped guide me and coach me when I took over the Safety job. I don't think I could have done it if it wasn't for him.
He will be in my thoughts and prayers.
The souls of the just are in the hand of God,
and no torment shall touch them.
They seemed, in the view of the foolish, to be dead;
and their passing away was thought an affliction
and their going forth from us, utter destruction.
But they are in peace
Wisdom 3:1-3
Our thoughts & prayers are with the family during this difficult time! Such a kind & all around nice guy! He will be missed! God Bless & take care. Love,. Kevin & Patricia
Met John when I started as an officer with Brookhaven PD. As a rookie he was there to answer my questions and provide better solutions to my awkwardness in the handling of calls. When he appear on scene, I smiled in confidence. A true professional and mentor to the profession.

I am so sorry for your loss.
John was such a nice man, I will always remember him coming to support my sons baseball team. We had such good conversations and had a great time on our golfing adventures.
Save me a tee time John, Heaven has to be better than Augusta.
John was a part of the best group of people I have ever worked with. Just the thought of John, Ron Sutsko, Patti Langdon and I having nerf ball fights in hallway makes me laugh! He looked out for those with whom he worked. Although having to be a disciplinarian at times, he did so in a fair manner. A kind, funny, smart guy with a wicked sense of humor, he will be missed greatly.
On behalf of the St. James High School Alumni Association and his 1966 classmates, I extend our deepest sympathies and prayers on your loss. In April 2024, the Alumni Association will remember John at their annual Memorial Mass at St. Madeline's Church in Ridley Park. May he rest in peace!
My sincerest sympathies to John's family, it had been many years since I had seen him until we reconnected through Facebook. Many years ago in the days of Little League and Brookhaven Teener League. Wonderful memories of John and his parents. Rest in Peace John. I know you will be missed by all.
