Obituary of Charles E. Hiller, Jr.
Charles E Hiller Jr, age 90, of Brookhaven, Pennsylvania, passed away on Thursday May 25th at Harrison House Chester County. He was the beloved husband of Ruth Ann (Donaghy) Hiller. He is predeceased by his parents Charles E Hiller Sr, Lola Hiller and son Richard Hiller.
Charles was born on September 1, 1932, graduated from Ridley Township High School, proudly served in the Naval Reserves for 9 years, and retired in 1991 after 35 years with PECO as a Utilization foreman.
Charles was an active member of the Aston Presbyterian Church where he was part of the Men’s Association, and volunteered for many activities including weekly landscaping services for the Church. The children who attended school there affectionately called him “the Man with the Hat” as he worked around the church facilities. He spent years helping his sons and others enjoy the Boy Scouting experience. In retirement his woodworking skills came into focus and his various projects were enjoyed by many in the family and those to whom he gifted his handiworks.

Loving wife Ruth, Brother, James Hiller and niece Lynorr, Son David Hiller and wife Janet and daughter Jessica Hiller and husband Joseph Mastrine, his son Robert Hiller and wife Beverly and their daughter Melissa and husband Kevin O’Hara (their children Nolan and Avery); and son Andrew Hiller and wife Amy (their children Max and Colton); and their daughter Megan and husband Myles Snyder (their children Tyler, Myles, Parker) his son Donald and wife Sandra Hiller and their child Korlynn and husband Jeremy Branch his son Richard (deceased) and wife Natalie Moore (and children Sean and Wesley) his son Doug and wife Patty Hiller (and their children Alex and Kayla)
Visitation: Thursday, June 1st from 3:30-5:00PM at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.
Interment: Private.
