Obituary of Donald J. DeVito

Donald J. DeVito, age 84, of Wallingford, PA, formerly of Ridley Park, PA, died on Friday, June 9, 2023. Don was employed as a Detailer with the Philadelphia Electric Company for 34 years.  He drove a school bus for Wallingford Swarthmore School District for 15 years, and was affectionately known as “Driver Don” to the children.

Don was a parishioner of the Church of St. John Chrysostom, Wallingford, PA.  He was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Predeceased by his parents, Louis and Delina Barbacane DeVito

Survivors: Wife of 63 years, Frances (Yori) DeVito, Son, Donald (Veronica) DeVito, Daughter, Deborah (Paul) Palermo.

Siblings: Betty Lou Wright, Bonnie Whalon, Paul DeVito, A. Beth James

Also survived by 6 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren

Visitation:  Saturday, June 17^th from 10:00-10:45AM at the Church of St. John Chrysostom, 617 S. Providence Rd., Wallingford, PA 19086

Funeral Mass: Saturday, June 17^th at 11:00AM at the Church of St. John Chrysostom

Interment: Private.
