I woke up with sadness to this news, I met Scotty around 2006, I was working at a paper company, in montgomeryville, pa. and scotty was our daily pick-up driver from Duie Pyle, I would often pick his brain as I gained interest in truck driving, we would talk the whole time while I was loading his trailer. fast forward when I got hired at Duie Pyle in 2019 as a driver, I'm glad I got the opportunity to tell him that he inspired me to drive commercially, his laugh was infectious, u could hear it from down the hall, it would echo throughout the warehouse when he laugh really hard. condolences to the family, we lost a great man, I'm gonna miss him, rest well scotty.
