Obituary of Walter A. Linewicz, Jr.

Walter A. Linewicz, Jr. “Walt” “Wally” age 76, of Aston, PA, formerly of Brookhaven, PA, died at home on Wednesday, September 27, 2023.  Walt graduated from Sun Valley High School, Class of 1965.  Walt was employed with Westinghouse and then retired from Boeing.

He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving during Vietnam. He received the Meritorious Unit Commendation, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with Three Bronze Stars and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.

Walt’s passion was being a car craftsman. He built many street rods and enjoyed spending time with his family at car shows.  He was a member of the Delaware Street Rods.

Son of the late Walter A. and Sophia (Schmeil) Linewicz, Sr.

Survivors:

Wife of 51 years: Lynn (Galloway) Linewicz

Daughter: Marcy (Tom) Mooney

Grandchildren: Dylan and Hope Mooney

Services and Interment was held privately.
