Squeaky was always a funny guy and growing up around the FH as a young guy and then working with him and my father was a privilege not many get to enjoy. God Bless.
May You Rest In Peace, Ed
You will be missed very very much by everyone .Always a smile on your face and you never complained about anything.
What a sunny disposition you had !! What a rare bird of a human being.
May the fond memories that you have Sandi, help to push away the tremendous sadness that you feel at this most difficult time.
And Sandi I just want to acknowledge that there will be a place most certainly in heaven for you too. I have never met a more devoted, caring and hard working daughter as you were. You did a stellar job keeping Ed healthy all these years. He was very blessed to have you there!! You were his shining star.
With Love,
Joann Getz
Ed was my stepdad of 38 years. He was my little buddy, my partner in crime, my best friend and all much more than I could ever put in words. He was a kind soul, a caring compassionate man that was soft spoken , with a wicked sense of humor. He loved his Eagles and Phillies, often we would watch these games, eating his famous Casspullas Italian hoagies. As he grew older it was a priveledge and honor to take care of him as he aged in place. He loved the family pets, his little Pudgee, his Himalayan kitty was the queen of the house. He loved his Siamese and Ragdoll kitties and enjoyed them especially when they sat by their pop-pop while he had his breakfast. He loved to recall his stories of being in service and his days in local 1400, station 82, Chester City, Pa firefighter. I will miss my little buddy, my friend, my stepdad with all my heart and soul. You will always be a shining light in my heart and grateful that how rich my life was because of you. Rest well in heaven, sweet soul . With all my gratitude and love, Sandi
