Obituary of Mary T. Wood

Mary T. (Johnson) Wood, age 96, of Glen Mills, PA, died on Thursday, October 5, 2023. Mary was born and raised in Philadelphia. She graduated from West Catholic Girls High School. Mary had a lifelong career with real estate, working at Walter M. Wood, Jr. Realtor, where she met the love of her life.

There was nothing Mary loved more than her family, who she was surrounded by when she peacefully passed. Nana loved spending time and playing with her grandchildren and she could make up the best bedtime stories.

We would just like to say, Mom and Nana “Goodbye and God bless you, we love you with all our heart.”

Daughter of the late Elwood and Mary (Kane) Johnson; Wife of the late Walter M. Wood, Jr.

Grandchildren: Kelly (Bill) Betzner, Chris (Melissa) Urbany, David (Brittany) Urbany,  Jonathan (Brianna) Urbany, Sean Urbany, Laura (Shane) Cunningham,

Kevin (Amy) Urbany, Mackenzie Wood, Kacey (Chris) Pohlad and Jimmy Wood

Nana is survived by 11 Great Grandchildren and one more bundle of joy on the way.

Visitation: Friday, October 13th, from 9:30-10:15AM at the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle, 430 Valleybrook Rd., Glen Mills, PA 19342.

Funeral Mass: Friday, October 13^th at 10:30AM at the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle.

Inurnment: Ss. Peter & Paul Mausoleum.
