Obituary of John J. Wilwert, Sr.

John J. Wilwert Sr. (Jack), age 88 of Brookhaven, PA, formerly of Bucks County, PA, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023,  at Riddle Memorial Hospital. John worked as a gas station manager for Sunoco and a salesman for Sears in Chester. He became a very successful salesman during his 25 years at Pitney Bowes, where he received many awards for his excellent work and great rapport with his customers. Jack  was a parishioner of Our Lady of Charity Church for 62 years.

His parents, Peter Wilwert, Helen (Meredith) Wilwert and his sister Jane (Wilwert) Siefert preceded John in death.

John is survived by his wife of 71 years, Dolores (Lombardozzi) Wilwert, his son John J. Wilwert, Jr. (Lorraine) and his daughter Donna (Wilwert) Hepbron; his grandchildren Jennifer Shepard (Tim), Lindsey Wilwert (Joe Aiello), Timothy Wilwert (Nicole), and his great grandchildren Noah Shepard, Alex Shepard and Hayden Aiello.

Visitation: Tuesday, November 21^st from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Church of Our Lady of Charity, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, PA 19015.

A Catholic Mass will be held Tuesday, November 21^st at 11:30 AM, The Church of Our Lady of Charity,

Interment: Private.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105.
