Obituary of Janet R. Ollis

Janet Ruth (Johnston) Ollis, age 84, of Glen Mills, PA, formerly of Rutledge, PA, and Collingdale, PA, died on Wednesday March 13, 2023 at Riddle Hospital.

Jan was born June 14, 1939 and was a graduate of Collingdale High School, Class of 1959.  She was a secretary at the Philadelphia Naval Yard. Jan was an office manager with Endodontics Associates in Springfield, PA.  Jan’s most important job was being the family’s Domestic Goddess Engineer, where she was devoted to her family and her home.

Jan was a member of the Toms River Church of the Nazarene. She also was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Prospect Park Chapter #551.

Wife of the late Rodger H. Ollis, Sr., Daughter of the late Derward Johnston and Marion R. Asselin.

Survivors:

Daughters: Janet (Ray), Sheri (Jim)

Son: Rodger, Jr. (Michele)

Grandchildren: Samantha, Ronnie, James, Jessika, Jacqueline, Robert, Kyle, Tyler, Madison and Keira

Great-Grandchildren: Audrey, Harper and Grayson

Sister: Patricia (Del)

Brothers: Robert (Sue), Mark (Betty)

Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Friday, March 15^th at 1:30PM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown twp., Media, PA 19063.

Graveside Services: Friday, March 15^th at 2:30PM at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
