Condolences
I met Chris over a decade ago as we both work in IT. Very quickly I found out we grew up less than a mile from each other and had a lot of common experiences with Delco. He very quickly began inviting me to join a group of his friends for dinner, bourbon by the fire pit, and listening to obscure 80s music.
For me, Chris will always be associated with trips to Microcenter, dinners at diners, coffee at Dunkin or Starbucks, fishing/kayaking at Marsh Creek Lake, Booth's Corner on a Saturday morning, and especially sitting at the firepit and just relaxing with my beagles...while he tells me the model of the mixer and who produced the song we're listening to. I miss him already.
I worked with Chris at the Deloitte Glen Mills office. He was always to kind and friendly to everyone. We have something called Impact Day where employees volunteer to help out communities, charities, etc. for a day. One year we ended up at the same place to do our Impact Day and it only lasted until early afternoon so a few of us went afterwards to a bar for a few drinks. Chris has a great time and ended up hitting it off with some people there and got playing pool with some of my friends. All of us, especially Chris, had a great time that day. He will be missed.
Chris was truly exceptional, with a contagious passion that inspired all. His boundless enthusiasm and electrifying zeal, whether discussing technology or home projects, made his company uplifting. At Deloitte, Chris commanded respect through bold, honest leadership. Guiding the team with resolve, his decisive presence will be sorely missed. His remarkable drive and authentic joy leave an enduring legacy. Please accept my deepest condolences on this profound loss.
Sincerely,
John Naples
