Obituary of Ralph A. Duryea

Ralph A. Duryea “Art” age 91, of Glen Mills, PA, formerly of Wallingford, PA, died on Thursday, October 17, 2024.   Art was born in Hillsdale, MI on November 18, 1932. He received his B.S. from Michigan State University.

Art was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving during Korean War.

Mr. Duryea was employed with Scott Paper Company, retiring after 28 years.  Art was a volunteer for many years at Riddle Hospital.

Art was an avid hunter.  He adored his wife and lived for his Savior, Jesus Christ. He was a devoted father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather.  He adored his family and  cherished spending time together.

Son of the late Ralph K. and Florabelle (Richardson) Duryea; Father of the late Linda Marie Lewis; Brother of the late Ken Duryea and Connie Atherton.

Survivors:

Loving Wife of 71 years: Janice M. Duryea

Devoted Daughter: Carol (Barry) Duryea Greene

Grandchildren: Rachel Greene, Virginia Russell, Brandon Green (Sarah)

6 Great-Grandchildren

Visitation: Wednesday, October 23^rd  after 10:00AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, October 23rd at 11:00AM at the funeral home.

Interment will be private.
