Obituary of James F. Wilson, Sr.

 

James F. Wilson, Sr. “Jimbo” age 71, of Media, PA, died at home surrounded by his loving family and dogs on Sunday, October 20, 2024.

 

Jimbo was a graduate of Penncrest High School, Class of 1971.  He graduated from Pennsylvania Institute of Technology with a degree in Electrical Engineer and Stationary Engineering.

 

Mr. Wilson was employed for 47 years with the following facilities, Germantown Hospital, Einstein Hospital and LaSalle University, retiring in 2017.

 

Jim was a lifelong member of Middletown Presbyterian Church.  He enjoyed car shows, riding his Harley, boating and fishing.  Jimbo was a devoted Phillies fan.  Most of all, family was everything to Jim and he cherished spending time together and adored his dogs, Chapo and Lucy.

 

Son of the late James P. and Jeane (English) Wilson.

 

Survivors:

Wife of 47 years: Gerrie (Murawski) Wilson

Son: Jim (Jess) Wilson, Jr.

Daughter: Kristen (Jay) Wilson

Grandchildren: Angel and JJ

Sister: Barbara Meunier

Also survived by nieces and nephews

 

Visitation: Thursday, October 24th after 10:00AM at Middletown Presbyterian Church, 273 S. Old Middletown Rd. Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Service: Thursday, October 24th at 11:00AM at the church.

 

Interment: Middletown Presbyterian Church Cemetery
