Obituary of Margaret D. Magerr
Margaret "Peggy" D. (nee Max) Magerr, 85, of Aston, PA, died Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Fair Acres. Mrs. Magerr was born in Philadelphia, PA and had been a resident of Aston, PA since 1961.
Peggy was a parishioner of the Church of St. Joseph, Aston, PA. She also was a member of Gold Star Mothers (Mothers who lost a son or daughter in the military service)
Peggy loved her home and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved the holidays and most of all enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Known for her creativity, Peggy enjoyed sewing and art work mostly painting scenery.
She was also active for many years in water aerobics.
Peggy was the wife of the late William L. "Leo" Magerr, Jr. who died in 1995 and the mother of the late Corporal William L. Magerr, III who died while serving in Vietnam. Sister of the late Josephine, Virginia, Mary, Helene and Betty.
