Obituary of Dorothy A. Ciabattoni

Dorothy A. (nee Smith) Ciabattoni "Dot", age 93, of Broomall died Monday, December 13, 2010 at Little Flower Manor Nursing Home in Darby. Dot was born in Philadelphia and was a 1934 graduate of Overbrook High School. Mrs. Ciabattoni was employed in Sales at the family business, Trio Dinettes for 25 years, until retiring in 1982. Dot was a longtime active member of Marple Presbyterian Church in Broomall where she was involved in circle activities. Dot volunteered at Broomall Presbyterian Village for 10 years and was awarded the "Volunteer of the Year." Most of all, Dot was devoted to her family and will be missed by all whose heart she once touched. Daughter of the late Jeremiah and Ella White Smith and wife of the late Tom Ciabattoni. Survivors: SON: Thomas Ciabattoni DAUGHTER: Jeanne Lerro (Bill) 5 GRANDCHILDREN: David Morris (Maryanne), Kim Wrasper (Robert), Gina Gibbons (Frances), Thomas Ciabattoni and Stephanie Cornman (Curt) 10 Great-Grandchildren: James, Casey, Thomas, Kailee, Kelsey, Natalie, Brianna, Zachary, Marlaena and John.
