Obituary of Vera A. Doskocil

Vera A. Doskocil, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 20, 2013 in her 92nd year. Born in the Czech Republic, she immigrated to the United States in 1950 with her family, husband Joseph, and her two children, Joseph and Scarlett. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Vera, known affectionately as "Mom Mom D", was a lady like no other, loved everyone as she was also loved. The family settled in Ithaca, New York, and after several years, moved to Delaware County. She lived in Brookhaven, PA, for the past 50 years. Vera was predeceased by her husband, Joseph. Survived by two children, son Joseph (Nancy), of Lancaster, PA and daughter Scarlett Cairy (Harry) of Aston, PA. Three Grandchildren, Joseph III, of Lancaster, PA, Brian Cairy and Michele Johnston both of Aston, PA. Ten Great Grandchildren, Sammi D'Antonio, Cairy, Joey, Camren, Danny, Brandon, Jamie and Riley from Aston, PA, and Georgie and Alivia of Lancaster, PA.
