Obituary of Frances Allen

Frances "Adele" Allen, age 99, of Glen Mills, PA, died Monday, April 22, 2013 at home. Adele worked with General Electric for 15 years, until her retirement in 1972. Adele enjoyed traveling and was an enthusiastic knitter. She was a devoted homemaker, who loved her family and most of all treasured spending time with them. Adele was the wife of the late Herbert Allen who died in 1946; and mother of the late Carol Allen Akers. SURVIVORS Daughters: Elise A. O'Connor of West Grove, PA and Bonnie L. Allen of Glen Mills, PA. Special Great-Nephew: T/Sgt. Michael Seeber of Florida, who she helped to raise.
