Obituary of Edward M. Pugh

Edward Monroe Pugh, age 87, of Wallingford, PA, died Friday, May 2, 2014. Mr. Pugh was born May 15, 1926, in Roanoke, VA, to the late Steve and Rosetta (Hall) Pugh. Mr. Pugh served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, in the Pacific Theater, as a gunner on TBM Avenger, flying off the aircraft carrier Shangri-La. Ed graduated from Virginia Tech, in 1951, with an Industrial Engineering degree. He worked for E.I DuPont Co. for 34 years. Ed was a member of Lima United Methodist Church, and a former member of the American Legion and Lions Club. He was an artist and enjoyed gardening, playing golf and wood working.
